Chamber members and invited guests enjoyed a beautiful summer evening in the gardens of Gunston Hall celebrating this year's Achievement Honorees. Special thanks to last year's recipients, Pipi Harrison and Hillary Clawson for assisting Chamber Chair Casey Whitmarsh in presenting this year's Community Impact awards. The Chamber was pleased Grace McGuinness was able to accept on behalf of her mother Karen McGuinness.

It was an evening of networking, socializing, fundraising, and celebrating the Chamber's positive impact on members and continuing engagement with the local Fairfax community. Funds raised throughout the evening will help the Chamber to continue providing networking, marketing and educational opportunities to members as well as our many civic endeavors. 


2nd annual

SFCC Commerce Carnival!



Thanks to our participating members in the Chamber's 2nd annual Commerce Carnival at the Lorton Spring Fling: Brain Injury Services, Casey Whitmarsh, State Farm Agent, Brian Gottlieb, Realtor Berkshire Hathaway Home Services/Penfed Realty, Inova, Montessori Kids Universe at Lorton Valley Station, and Tom Repczynski, Offit Kurman.



Carnival-style games and enticing prizes provided a win-win scenario for both Spring Fling attendees and member businesses. It was a fantastic opportunity to engage with the public in a relaxed and enjoyable setting. Participating Chamber members were able to showcase their products and services while connecting with potential customers on a personal level.

Our 2nd annual Salute to Veterans was a huge success! Invited guests included US Congressman Gerry Connolly and Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay. Thank You to all those who donated in our clothing drive benefiting Boots to Suits, a nonprofit serving military veterans entering the civilian workforce. We were overwhelmed by your generosity!


The Chamber welcomes Ledo Pizza to South Fairfax!

The South Fairfax community gathered recently to welcome Ledo Pizza at Liberty Market.


SFCC Executive Director Carla Olivo welcomed Chamber members and distinguished guests. Chair, Mr. Casey Whitmarsh said, "We are honored to witness the realization of a vision that will undoubtedly contribute to the economic prosperity of South Fairfax."


Once the ribbon was cut, Ledo Manager Rekh Karki and his staff invited everyone inside the new store for some delicious pizza, meatballs, salad, and drinks.


The Chamber is excited to have Ledo Pizza as a new member and we encourage you to stop by and meet Rekh and his team and welcome them to the South Fairfax community!


Petite Smiles Pediatric Dentistry Now Open!

SFCC Members and their guests recently attended the official ribbon cutting for Petite Smiles Boutique Pediatric Dentistry at their new office at Liberty Market. Dr. Heba Rashed and her staff are bringing specialized, comprehensive oral health care to local individuals from infancy to adolescence, including those with special health care needs. 

SFCC Executive Director Carla Olivo welcomed Chamber members and distinguished guests. Chair, Mr. Casey Whitmarsh said, "Today's event is a testament to the entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in the Lorton community. This ribbon-cutting is about more than just a new business; it's about growth, collaboration, and the vibrant future we continue to build together."


The Chamber welcomes the Brynmor Early Education & Preschool 

The South Fairfax Chamber recently welcomed the Brynmor Early Education & Preschool to the newly redeveloped Liberty Market.

Founder Rhian Evans Allvin and her staff held a ribbon cutting and grand opening for the Lorton community.

During his remarks, Chamber Chair Casey Whitmarsh said, "As members of the South Fairfax Chamber, we understand the importance of supporting and fostering the growth of businesses that contribute to the well-being of our community. Brynmor Early Education & Preschool is poised to become an integral part of our economic tapestry, adding to the vibrancy of the Lorton community.
